When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you post a listing, we collect the listing details including contact information you choose to provide (name, email, phone). When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the marketplace, authenticate your account, display your listings, send you platform notifications, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database with row-level security. Your listings and favorites are only accessible to you and to MALTO administrators for moderation purposes.
4. Cookies
MALTO uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your listings from your account dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us through the Platform.
6. Data Retention
Listings are retained for the duration of their active period (30 days for standard and featured listings). Account data is retained until you request deletion. Newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
